Education Grants

As news director for three radio stations, I often receive news releases with information I know could be useful to somebody, but I usually don't have a forum for sharing it.  Until now.  Thank you, social media.

The Dominion Foundation, Dominion Virginia Power's charity arm, is offering $1,000,000 in higher education grants and is now accepting applications.  According to their news release, the grants will be for programs in business, skilled craft, engineering, environmental and technical studies, and for student-led conservation programs.  Applications are available at www.Dom.com, keywords:  higher education.  The deadline is May 1st.
